【About this tour】

Private transportation is included in this tour. You will have a opportunity to visit famous places near Karuizawa that are only be accessible by car, allowing you to enjoy the vast scenery and landscapes created by Mt. Asama. Customization of the tour is possible depending on the places you choose to visit.

Typically I offer 6 hours tour but I am also available for an 8-hour tour upon request. An additional fee of 4,000 yen will be charged for each additional hour. If you prefer a shorter tour , please inform me in advance.

【Highlights】

Onioshidashi Park: This is a tourist attraction that spreads over an area of ​​lava that flowed out during the eruption of Mt. Asama in 1783. You can walk around the park enjoying seasonal flowers while looking out at Mt. Asama.

Shiraito Falls: This is a fantastical waterfall that is one of Karuizawa's famous spots, with countless thin streams of water spreading out like a curtain over a height of about 3 meters and a width of about 70 meters.

Lunch: Lunch at your choice of soba restaurant, Western food, or cafe at Harunire Terrace near Hoshino Hotel. Shopping is also available.

Hot Springs: Take a break in Karuizawa's hot springs, where the open-air baths are comfortable.It opened in 1915, Tombo no Yu is a historic hot spring with free-flowing water from the source that has been visited by many literary figures.
